Well, I'm single, and I ended up losing one best friend after she got married, and now losing another. The first one ran off with this guy and married him WHILE THEY WERE BOTH STILL IN HIGH SCHOOL! The guy ended up becoming a registered sex offender, and my friend left him. (But they never divorced.) However, the damage was done. She changed. She pushed me aside and moved away without even telling me goodbye.

The other friend has gotten engaged. In her case, I feel as though that there is no room for me in her life. We ended up moving in different circles.

I decided that I don't need this. I would rather be alone than make friends who will either leave me or turn on me.

The truth is I had a few friends but they're were three bestfriends. One married, the other engaged to be married and now currently married and one single. Our lives is very different. My husband and I don't participate in the same singles activities we use to in our past. My bestfriends however do along with more...My husband and I also are members and actively involved in the church. So the things I use to do I no longer do! Our connection is completely gone and I am always talked about. So I'd rather hang out with married couples who participate in similar festivities where we can be free and open with our friendship. Besides, any friends who have random sex with guys on the street without protection, one cheating on her man and the other gossiping, and competing with your every move! I'd rather be free of that all and focus on the new chapter of my life. Funny how you see so much clearer lol!!!

I personally do not think either genda should dominate which other. I would never let anyone dominate me male or female, you are your own person and to be treated in this way is wrong in my book. Some religions and cultures are very bad at dominating women, i am an atheist and a member of the British humanist association and we are very much against this kind of thing. A friend of mine was married to a man who took up with the (church of the latter day saints) he became religion mad he stopped her from shopping on a Sunday as he said it was the sabbath and against God's holy rules, he also called her an whore and a slut if she worn certain clothes and tried to make her read the bible everyday to save her from sin so she would go to heaven. She told him she was an atheist all along and he said she would burn in hell. She became very depressed and left and got a divorce glad to say. Now she has a new live and is a much happier person.

Yeah, what everyone else has said is usually the best ways to find one. Check local websites of your local courthouse or talk with the mayors office or something like that. You will usually be able to find what you need.

You can call your city office and ask or check online. If you know anyone who's lately been married, they can give you a name or two. It's important to find someone to perform your marriage who you feel comfortable with.

You guys are leaving out a very important detail concerning Tungsten carbide rings. While they cannot be resized or "cut" off, they CAN be removed by crushing them in a vice. They will not suddenly explode or implode on your finger if it's done in a very controlled manner (i.e. don't be an idiot and try to use vice grips or a hammer). If done properly, they will simple fracture and fall to pieces leaving zero damage to your finger.

As for Palladium I think is the best option for a durable ring which IS resizable, and won't lose it's color over time. The reports I have read are that they are slightly more scratch resistant than titanium.

Order of scratch resistance (gathered from multiple sources and information I have been reading), softest to hardest:
Gold
White Gold (loses it's color as Rhodium plating wears off)
Platinum
Titanium (nearly impossible to resize, can be cut off)
Palladium - best choice in my opinion, for average person
Tungsten Carbide (cannot be resized or "cut" off, but CAN be crushed) - best choice for blue collar workers especially

it really can be interesting stuff. just be sure that you have everything planned. It is always better to have something planned and prepared then just by doing it at the spur of the moment.
